Program Overview

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad (CSIR-CCMB) invites applications from highly motivated candidates to undertake research training towards the partial fulfillment of their degree. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on laboratory experience at a premier research institute.

In addition to rigorous laboratory training, candidates will be exposed to scientific ethics, good laboratory practices (GLP), and various career opportunities in the life sciences. At the end of the training period, candidates are required to present their research work to the scientific community at CCMB. CSIR CCMB Dissertation Research Training Program 2026.

Fee Structure & Duration

The program is offered for two distinct durations. Please review the fee details below. Note that students must wait for an official offer letter from the CCMB coordinator indicating their selection before making any payments.

How to Apply

Only online applications are accepted. Please follow the structured process below to successfully submit your application:

1. Consent from Scientist (Optional but Recommended): Candidates having a specific research interest may contact respective CCMB scientists to seek their consent prior to applying.
2. Prepare Authorization Letter: Download the official format and obtain an authorization letter issued by the Head of your University / College / Institute. This must be uploaded during the application.
3. Submit Online Application: Fill out the prescribed online application form for either the main CCMB campus or CCMB-LaCONES.
4. Confirmation & Selection: After submitting, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Wait for the screening process to complete.
5. Payment: Successful candidates will be informed via email with an offer letter. You must then make the payment through NEFT to the CCMB account using the online SBI portal.
