About the Bureau & Notification
The Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and functions as the dedicated implementing agency for the Government of India’s flagship healthcare initiative, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP). PMBI has released Vacancy Circular No. 02/2026 inviting applications from eligible Indian professionals for 178 posts across multiple divisions purely on a contractual basis.
Appointments are made on a full-time contractual basis initially for a duration of 03 years, subject to a 6-month observation period. Candidates selected will receive consolidated monthly emoluments, conveyance allowances, telephone allowances, provident fund, and insurance coverage.

Application Guidelines & Grounds for Rejection
Applications Will Be Uprightly Rejected If:

Mandatory Contract Conditions:
- Tenure is initially for 03 years with a 6-month observation period.
- If an employee leaves or resigns during the first year, liquidated damages equal to 3 months’ consolidated pay must be paid.
- Posting location is primarily Delhi & NCR or Anywhere in India as determined by organizational needs.
