This recruitment is to fill up vacancies for project positions at the Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA) center of THSTI. CDSA is a niche center established to facilitate the development of affordable healthcare products for public health diseases.
The positions are under the project: “INDIGO Effective and Affordable Flu Vaccine for the world” and “Effect of Immediate Kangaroo Mother Care (IKMC)…”.

1. Project Scientist – III (Project Manager)

- Essential: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Science or Technology from a recognised University or equivalent AND Seven years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions, or Science and Technology Organisations.
- Desirable: Experience of clinical trial or public health project management. Experience of line management and project management concepts.
- The Project Manager oversees, manages, and executes the operational aspects of assigned clinical studies.
- Manage project performance, cross-functional coordination, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop study-related documents (CRFs, protocols, manuals) and oversee submissions to ethics committees/regulatory bodies.
- Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits.
- Select, contract, and oversee vendors/CROs and third-party providers.
- Leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Indian Clinical Trials Regulations, ICH, and CDSCO GCP.
- Proficiency in English (written/oral) and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

2. Data Manager

- Desirable: Diploma in Clinical research/data management. Familiarity with CDMS and programming skills.
- Prepare Data Management Plans (DMP), Data Validation Plans (DVP), and Annotated CRFs.
- Design/Review CRFs, oversee database setup, validation, and data cleaning.
- Reconcile AE/SAE data and integrate medical coding dictionaries (MedDRA, WHO Drug).
- Manage data transfer, query management, data freezing, and archival.
- Familiarity with GCP, US-FDA 21 CFR 11, CDISC, SDTM.
- Experience with EDC tools and validation programming.

- Oversee clinical trial sites from initiation to closeout (Effect of Immediate Kangaroo Mother Care project).
- Conduct on-site and remote monitoring.
- Verify informed consent, monitor AE/SAE reporting, and review source documents (SDV).
- Frequent travel to 10 District Hospitals in Chhattisgarh is required.
