The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, has announced a Call for Proposals under the Himalayan Bio-resource Mission Programme for the North Eastern Region. This initiative seeks translational research proposals focusing on high-value crops, medicinal plants, microbial resources, and eco-restoration. Researchers from NER and collaborators across India can apply via the eProMIS portal. The deadline for submission is 19th January 2026.
