Project Title:
Development of pitcher plant-inspired liquid-infused and multi-modal biosensing platforms for combating implant-associated infections and bone losses (No. EMDR/IG/14/2025-00837).
Project Investigators:
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Debasish Mishra (Professor, SBST, VIT Vellore)
- Co-PI 1: Dr. Rupesh K. Srivastava (Additional Professor, AIIMS, New Delhi)
- Co-PI 2: Dr. Nagarajan Selvamurugan (Professor, SRM IST, Tamil Nadu)
🎓 Eligibility & Requirements
- Essential Qualification: First class Post Graduation (PG) degree in relevant subjects (Biotechnology / Biosciences / Material Science / or related disciplines) from a recognized university.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of research experience will be desirable.
🛠️ Mandatory Skills & Requirements
- Experience in maintaining laboratory records and compliance documentation.
- Supporting sample handling, data management, and project reviews.
- Willingness to travel to co-PIs’ labs located in different parts of the country (New Delhi & Tamil Nadu).
🌟 Added Advantage
Candidates having experience in laboratory skills like material coating, biochemical and microbiological assays, microbial culture maintenance, reagent handling, and assistance with animal experiments will be given preference.
⏳ Tenure & Instructions
- Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable up to 3 years based on candidate performance).
- Interview Details: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at a later date which will be intimated via email. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Joining: The selected candidate will be expected to join at the earliest.
