Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU), Gandhinagar invites online applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Research Associate (RA). This recruitment is under a DST-Government of Gujarat sponsored research project titled “Bio-AI for One Health”, in collaboration with Dhirubhai Ambani University (formerly DA-IICT).

✅ Eligibility Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related experience in Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
- Omics Analysis: Hands-on experience with omics data analysis.
- AI/ML Expertise: Experience in predictive modeling within the One Health framework and/or AI/ML model development applied to biotechnology (e.g., image analysis, NLP, or LLMs).
- Multi-modal Datasets: Experience in handling multi-modal datasets across domains such as clinical, agricultural, environmental, and imaging data.
- Programming: Strong programming and analytical skills using tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant AI/ML frameworks.
- Data Processing: Experience in data preprocessing, model development, training, validation, and performance evaluation.
- Publications: At least one peer-reviewed publication in a reputed journal within a relevant research area.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate scientific concepts clearly.
- Grant Writing: Proven capability to write research proposals and grants aligned with funding agency priorities.
