Essential Qualifications (Any ONE of the following combinations)
- Option 1: Master/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences / MVSc / Animal Sciences OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University AND Three (3) years of experience in R&D in Industrial/Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.
- Option 2: Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology OR Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Science / Pharma / MD / MS AND Two (2) years of experience in R&D in Industrial/Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
Experience working in the area of infectious diseases of humans and animals, with knowledge of molecular techniques, DNA and RNA isolation. Familiarity with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), preferably Oxford Nanopore sequencing and analysis of NGS data. Experience in molecular diagnostics and disease surveillance is highly preferred.

Job Requirement / Profile
Molecular epidemiology and infectious disease surveillance in dairy cattle. The candidate will participate and contribute to field sample collection and laboratory processing of samples for isolation of DNA or RNA. The role requires carrying out molecular analysis of samples including PCR and sequencing, as well as data maintenance and analysis.
Age Limit
Maximum 40 Years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
📅 Interview & Selection Process

- Shortlisted candidates will receive a URL link via email on or before 02/03/2026 for the online interview.
- Interview Date & Time: 04/03/2026 from 10:00 AM onwards (Online via MS Teams, Google Meet, or Cisco WebEx).
- No separate interview call letter will be issued. No TA/DA is admissible.
- Selected candidates must join duty immediately upon receipt of the offer.
