📜 Terms & General Instructions

Age Limit & Relaxations

  • Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the date of the interview (24.02.2026).
  • Age limits are relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Women and PwBD candidates per Govt. instructions.

Eligibility Criteria Rules

  • Candidates must have acquired the essential qualification & results must be declared (provisional certificate required).
  • Result awaited / Final semester appeared candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE.
  • Experience is counted only *after* acquiring the minimum educational qualifications.

Tenure & Engagement Rules

  • Engagement is purely temporary, initially up to six months, extendable based on performance and project duration.
  • It does not entitle the candidate to any permanent position in CSIR/IICT.
  • Candidates who have already served CSIR labs as Project Staff for 6 years or more are NOT eligible.

Walk-in Procedure

  • Selection is based on an interview and skill test (if applicable). No TA/DA is paid.
  • Bring the duly filled application form (downloaded from the IICT website).
  • Bring one set of attested documents (10th onwards, NET/GATE, Experience, Category) and ALL Original Certificates for verification.
