Essential Qualification
M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Bioscience / Biochemistry OR B.Tech in Biotechnology.
Required Experience:
Candidates having experience in recombinant expression of proteins. Experience in the area of Pilot-scale Protein Purification, Biomaterial research, and 3D Purification is required.

📅 Selection Process & Venue
Candidates fulfilling the qualifications must appear for a Walk-in Written Test and Interview.
- Stage 1 – Written Test: 16.03.2026 (Monday) from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. The test will consist of 50 Marks (MCQ type) covering Graduation level subject questions, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Aptitude, and General English.
- Stage 2 – Personal Interview: 18.03.2026 (Wednesday). Only candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the interview.
- Venue: Triple Helix Auditorium, CSIR-CLRI, Sardar Patel Road, Adyar, Chennai – 600 020.
Direct Interview Exemption: Applicants who have qualified NET/GATE or national level exams conducted by CSIR / DBT / DST / ICMR / IIT / IISc / IISER / UGC / ICAR etc., need NOT appear for the written test. They can directly attend the personal interview on 18.03.2026.

- Bring the duly filled application form to the Walk-in Written Test / Interview venue.
- Documents Required: Bring self-attested photocopies of all requisite certificates (Birth, 10th, 12th, Graduation, PG, Experience), along with ALL Original Certificates for verification.
- Carry a valid Photo ID proof (Aadhar, Voter ID, etc.) and 02 passport-size color photographs.
- Candidates must report before 10:00 AM on the date of the Written Test. Latecomers will not be allowed.
