The Ministry of Ayush invites applications for the engagement of Young Professionals on a purely contract basis. The Ministry seeks to engage persons with a passion for development and potential to become future leaders in their respective fields. Selected candidates will provide high-quality professional inputs in Ayush Systems, Budget, Finance, Education, Public Health, Commerce & Trade, Marketing & Strategies, and the Medicinal Plants Sector.

📝 Job Profile & Terms of Engagement
1. Scope of Work
Young Professionals will be required to provide high-quality inputs in disciplines such as:
- Ayush Systems, Budget & Finance.
- Education, Public Health & Infrastructure.
- IT, Media, Commerce, Trade & Marketing of Medicinal Plants Sector.
- Export Promotion and Skill Development.
2. Period of Engagement
The initial engagement will be for a period of one year. The tenure may be further extended subject to functional requirements and appraisal of performance by the Performance Appraisal Board (PAB).
3. Place of Posting
Selected candidates will be posted in Delhi at either:
- Ayush Bhawan, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi; OR
- Office Block 3, NBCC Building, East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi.
4. Allowances & Leave Rules
- Increment: An annual increase of remuneration up to 5% may be granted subject to satisfactory performance.
- Allowances: No DA, Transport Facility, Residential Accommodation, CGHS, or Medical Reimbursement is admissible.
- Leaves: Entitled to 12 days of leave in a calendar year on a pro-rata basis. Un-availed leave cannot be carried forward.
- TA/DA: Allowed to undertake domestic tours. TA is admissible for travel by Air in Economy Class or by Rail in AC Two Tier.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
Candidates should not be more than 32 years of age as on 1st July 2026.
2. Key Competencies
- Good command over writing in English or Hindi.
- Good working knowledge of technology-based skills (ICT applications) on the computer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
🎯 Selection Process
The selection procedure will involve the following steps:
- Screening: Applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee.
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience relative to the job requirements.
- Panel Selection: A panel of recommended candidates (valid for one year) will be formed based on merit.
- Police Verification: Final engagement is subject to verification of antecedents by the Police.
