💰 Monthly Emoluments (Stipend) Criteria
The monthly stipend for Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II positions is determined based on the following criteria as per CSIR norms:
Option A: Higher Stipend Slab
Amount: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (for PA-I) | Rs. 35,000/- + HRA (for PA-II)
Eligibility: Candidates who have qualified any of the following:
- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship).
- GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
- National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Option B: Standard Stipend Slab
Amount: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (for PA-I) | Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (for PA-II)
Eligibility: For candidates who do not fall under the categories mentioned in Option A (i.e., Non-NET/GATE qualified candidates).
* Note: Project Assistant-II position has a fixed stipend of Rs. 20,000/- + HRA.

📝 General Terms & Conditions
- Medical Facilities: Project personnel will be eligible for medical facilities at CSIR dispensaries (consultation/medicines) to the extent available.
- Leave Entitlement: Entitled to 12 days of leave per year. Maternity leave (180 days) and Paternity leave (15 days) applicable as per norms.
- PhD Registration: Project staff may be allowed to register for Ph.D. if they fulfill all requirements, provided the project duration is at least 3 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Tenure: Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. No claim for permanent employment.
- No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance/Dearness Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
