Essential Qualification (PA-I):
M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology from a recognised University or equivalent.
Essential Qualification (PA-II):
M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology with 2 years relevant experience in Research and Development in Industrial/Academic/Research Institutions.
Desirable: Working experience in yeast biology / engineering.

(i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (For NET/GATE/National Exam qualified) (ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (For others)
For Project Associate-II:

Essential Qualification:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Biological Sciences from a recognised University or equivalent
OR M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology with 4 years research experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology organisations.
Desirable: Working experience in yeast biology / engineering.

- Photocopies: One set of Self-Attested photocopies of all testimonials.
- Photograph: One recent passport-size photograph.
⚠️ Candidates without original documents/bio-data will NOT be allowed to appear for the interview.
📝 Terms & Conditions
- Tenure: Initially for one year. Extendable based on project requirements, performance, and fund availability. Maximum tenure is co-terminus with the project or 5 years, whichever is earlier.
- Temporary Nature: The post is purely temporary and does not confer any right to claim a permanent post in CSIR-CIMAP.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India Rules.
- Re-engagement: If a candidate wants to apply for a new project after completing tenure in one, they must undergo the selection process again and submit a "No Dues Certificate".
- Leaves: Project staff are entitled to leaves as per rules.
- Experience: Counted from the date of acquiring the minimum essential educational qualification.
- Result Awaited: Final semester/result awaited candidates are NOT eligible.
